Friday nights are usually take away night but being on a budget and having difficulty finding something cheap and HEALTHY to eat I mostly just give up and make something at home. But I do sometimes just feel like having a hamburger. With hubby that can’t have gluten that’s out. So I had to become creative. I make my own meatballs / patties.
I can’t really give you a ‘recipe’ as I’m horrible with that. I just throw things together and judge for myself if it looks good enough.
I take mince plus 1 egg and some gluten free flour. Mix it together with some chutney and tomato sauce (you get healthy options, look around). I make patties and fry them in some olive oil. You can have it on wholewheat buns or gluten free bread or like hubby he just enjoys them as they are with chips.
